Membership Dues and Fees

  1. Annual Membership

Annual Michigan membership dues are $52.

Annual dues notices are mailed in August and are due by October 31.

A $10 late fee will be assessed for all late payments (after Oct. 31).

Newly elected members have already paid their first year's dues with their application fee, which is applied to the year following the year they are elected.

REINSTATEMENTS: Inactive members may reinstate their membership by paying the current dues, $52, PLUS a $10 reinstatement fee. Members who reinstate January through June will be billed in August for the coming year. Members who reinstate July through December will have their dues applied to the coming year.

Life Membership

Life memberships are available to all members. Life members pay no annual dues. Even in the event of an annual dues increase for regular members, your life membership status will always remain intact. Below is a copy of the life membership fee schedule. To apply for life membership, please complete and submit the Life membership form.

Your payment supports the historical and educational work of our Society in preserving the lineages and heritage of the passengers who came to America on the Mayflower in 1620 and their descendants. This payment may be deductible for income tax purposes. Please consult with your tax preparer. These rates are effective January 2021.

Application Fees

New member application fees are currently $212.00, payable at the same time as submission of your Preliminary Application and Line of Descent forms. This fee includes $52.00 for first year dues.

Supplemental application fees are $160.00, for those members documenting additional Mayflower ancestors.
